MONTANA POLL®

The Montana Poll is a statewide public opinion poll that explores the attitudes and opinions of Montanans on a wide variety of social, economic, and political topics and is frequently cited as an authoritative source concerning public opinion in the state. The Bureau conducts the poll quarterly through a random telephone survey of adult Montanans. The Poll sample yields 400 completions each quarter. (Due to high demand for Bureau survey research services, there are years in which fewer than four Polls have been conducted.) The Montana Poll provides government, business, and non-profit organizations the opportunity to examine the behavior, preferences, and attitudes of Montanans in a quick and cost-effective manner. Clients may add questions to the Poll on a one-time basis or quarterly to monitor change across time. In addition to customized, client-specific questions, the Poll examines
