The Montana Poll recently began conducting the USDA Economic Research Service's food insecurity survey module. These items measure the prevalence of the inability of to acquire acceptable foods in appropriate quantities. The module also measures involuntary hunger that results from not being able to afford enough food. Food security is a key component of the well-being of all Montanans.
