Colin Sorenson

Colin Sorenson is a research economist with the Forest Industry Research group at the BBER. His current work involves forest products and manufacturing research in Montana and the Western United States.

Colin holds a B.S. in Social Science-Monetary Policy with a secondary degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Science from Kansas State University and an M.A. in Economics from The University of Montana. Before joining the Bureau, Colin volunteered abroad as an environmental educator and spent several years handling Latin American operations for a nature-based tour operator.
