Steve Seninger
Steve Seninger is a senior research professor and the former director of Economic Analysis, the Bureau’s Health Care Policy Research Program, and the Montana Kids Count Program. Professor Seninger has studied economic and social policy issues during his 40-year career, publishing extensively in professional journals, government reports and books, and consulting in the public and private sectors. From 1970 to 1995, he worked as a consultant with private industry and government agencies including the U.S. Department of Labor and the Social Security Administration and held faculty positions at the University of Utah and the University of Maryland.
In the area of health care, Dr. Seninger has worked with providers and more recently is analyzing and evaluating public health programs at the state and national levels. Dr. Seninger has presented his research and policy analysis at national and international meetings and to business audiences. Professor Seninger grew up in the Midwest, studied at universities in the Midwest and Western United States and received a Ph.D. in economics from Washington University, St Louis in 1971. |
