Charles Gale Research Assistant Charles Gale is a native Montanan, Eagle Scout, and is currently attending the College of Forestry and Conservation at the University of Montana-Missoula. He is majoring in Resource Conservation with a minor in Climate Change Studies. Prior to working at the BBER, Charlie was an intern at Missoula Area Economic Development Corporation, helping to develop funding options for Montana’s distressed wood products and logging industries. Current research activities include surveying loggers in Montana and Idaho about operating costs, surveying timber processors in Oregon about their operations, and examining social justice issues associated with woody biomass energy policies. |
